Grisoft AVG 7 on Suse 10

I installed AVG 7 on my laptop running Suse 10, all was fine, I ran the script for the username and company, but when I run

avgscan -register, i receive the following error

# avgscan -register
AVG7 Anti-Virus command line scanner
Copyright (c) 2006 GRISOFT, s.r.o.
Program version 7.1.24, engine 718
Virus Database: Version 268.2.0/275 2006-03-06
avgscan: symbol lookup error: avgscan: undefined symbol: __dynamic_cast_2

I have since found out that the Licence key is required after
avgscan -register XXXXXXXXXXXXXXetc.

I have tried the trial Licence key found in the readme file but still know joy!!!!!

Any ideas, Cheers Mal

What does "ldd -r /location/of/avgscan" show?

* BTW, not a security issue: moving to Linux - Software.

Check if you have package compat-libstdc++ installed and if not if installing the SuSE equivalent rpm of compat-libstdc++ works.
