GnuPG Exporting My Public Key

I have 16 people in my contacts that use PGP public keys to digitally sign and encrypt their email. I however use GnuPG and was wondering if I can exchange my public GPG key with them and have them add me in their keyring? Is this possible? How can I export my public key to a file and send it to them using GnuPG? I have never done this before and don't know if this is even possible...

Thanks for any help and or info!
