GNOME's logout script

Is there a way to have a user account restored back to its original state when U user logs out?

I tarred the users's folder when I've set it up as I want it to be and then I've written script that would unTAR the TARRED user'account into the user account folder.
But I dont know where to put this script in? I tried in GNOME's STARTUP but that doesnt work because GNOME stops responding.

So I believe that I should put the script to be executed at gnome logout(when a user presses the logout button) but how would I do this?

Im using UBUNTU DAPPER which has latest GNOME. And users log in thru GDM.

Found the sollution:
