giving access to a anonymous ip based access from windows

Hi,
I configured sftp on Linux box. configured access as required - perfect. Now the users drop the file in their home folders. The files shuld be consumed by a windows machine. The windows machine connected to Linux box with samba ip based anonymous connection. Since the sftp users folders are tightly secured only the owners can read/write no one else can. How can I provide read access to the sftp user folders for the windows user? Any pointers would help!
If I can create a group in Linux with the windows anonymous user (access granted based on the server ip address via samba) then I can get the job done. But don't know how. Can any expert lend a hand. Thanks a ton!

cheers,
alex

This looks like a situation where groups would be useful. Make a group for the read-only access to use. Then make the directories part of that group and set g+s. If you're already reliant on groups for those same directories, then you could turn to ACLs instead.
