Hello. It depends on the distro you're using.

In gentoo, you can add the commands in /etc/conf.d/local.start. In slackware you can add them in /etc/rc.d/rc.local.

Or whatever distro you're using try to know the init's local start script then the add commands there.

regards

Hi

My apologies that I have not mentioned which distro I am using. I am using debian. Do you know where the local start script is for debian ?

i haven't use debian yet but i can refer you to this page:
http://www.linux.lk/lurker/message/2...0c2489.en.html

according to the contents, there's a way to make a local startup script if you can't find one.
