ftp issue


how can i control user accessing through ftp client , that they can't browse the other directories in the linux box .


meaning can only download or upload to one particular folder and can't even look at any other folder or browse..

please help

what FTP server daemon are you using?

Normally there is an option in the config file for each user that will allow you to chroot them to a specific directory.
