Smile Firewall commands


What is diff between below commands in RHEL 6.2?

lokkit --disabled and service iptables stop(chkconfig iptables off)

lokkit is a management tool for iptables. The service command simply stops a service and chkconfig rebuilds the /etc/rc*.d/ symlinks to tell the system whether to start (any script that starts with an "S") or don't start (any script that starts with a "D").
