firestarter load on startup/system tray

hi all... does anyone know how to have firestarter load in the system tray on startup? I'm quite sure the firewall rules are running but I'm trying to have the little notifier thingy loaded in gnome on boot.

i know how to make it run on startup but it requires root privs.... i'm stumped at this point.....
thanks
ZW

BTW - it's running on fedora core 1

IIRC if you install it the script should run from /etc/rc.d/rc$(runlevel)/.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
