Exclamation Firestarter

I know that guarddog is already on mepis, but I wanted to try firestarter. But when I install it, and try to run it, I get this message:

Failed to run firestarter

Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file.

Make sure you run it as root.

If it doesn't work as root then try copying the ~/.Xautority file from another home folder of a user that is able to open X.
