finding directories w/ certain permissions

I am decently knowledgable about linux but there is still alot I do not know. One of my main questions for securing my box is, "how can I find dirs with certain permissions"? I am about purchase Linux Unleashed but until then I am looking to these forums for help. As an example. How would I find all dirs on a system with chmod 700 permissions?

find / -type d -a -perm 700

or ones with at least 700 would be

find / -type d -a -perm +700
