Fedora C3 SELinux causing Free-Radius to fail startup
Hello.
Im not too great with linux and having a problem after being given the task to setup a Fedora Core3 machine.
i have Free-Radius 0.96, the command "service radius start" works without any problems and all looks well from the command line as root.
On a reboot the service (in /etc/rc3.d as firstly s70, then tried S99radius just incase ) will not start. Looking around on the internet i found that disabling SELinux resolves the problem, but im guessing this is not a solution, as nothing is ever that simple, SELinux is used to protect the machine.
Radius Log extract when run from system startup:
Wed Aug 8 21:38:18 2007 : Error: radiusd.conf[9] Failed to link to module 'rlm_eap': /usr/local/lib/rlm_eap-1.0.0.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
The library is installed, think this is correct:
-rwxr-xr-x root root system_u:object_r:shlib_t /usr/local/lib/rlm_eap-1.0.0.so
Can anyone shed some light on this for me, remembering i am a bit of a newbie at this and dont seem to be making progress.
Many Thanks.
Andy Flack.
