Evade keylogger by using mouse and keyboard for normal logins
Hi
forgive me if this has already been posted.
As you know a keylogger captures keyboard inputs for later retrieval either for legit purposes or not so.
The key thing is....they only know what has been typed....so if you are paranoid a keylogger may have been installed, you type more characters (if possible) than your password or login name.....and then use the mouse to cull the bits out.
eg
Username....akdhjlogin777name....highlight with mouse and delete until you get
username....loginname
eg 2
passwds often show up as *******...so it might be safer to count a certain number of stars pre or post your passwd to cull
Well, whoever wrote the article making that suggestion doesn't know what they're doing. I'm sure a lot of other people out there, like me, wish it were that easy.
