ethereal FC3 probs
 

installed Ethereal via "yum" on my fedora machine, but i can't find it to start.

the command : #$ ethereal = gets a "command not found"
man ethereal , tell me no man pages for ethereal.
# find / -name ethereal =
/etc/pam.d/ethereal
/etc/security/console.apps/ethereal
/usr/lib/ethereal
/usr/share/ethereal
but there is nothing to exicute in these files ?? WHAT am i missing ?

# locate ethereal = nothing
# whereis ethereal = /usr/lib/ethereal , /usr/share/ethereal ????:study: :confused: :scratch:

Should be in /usr/sbin . Also try looking for it as root.

There might have been some problem during the yum install. I'd try re-installing with yum or just download an rpm manually.

There is are one availble for download here (the FC3 ones are several pgs in) .
