Draft RFC for new version of SSH protocol, especially key handling

Not sure if this should be here or 'General' (Mods; its up to you), but I thought people might want to read and possibly submit comments to the IETF.

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/dra...include_text=1

Enjoy :)

PS: Can A Mod fix the typo in title please: s/oh/of/

I've read it and I don't much agree with it (although it does state some facts accurately they are obvious ones). In fact I suspect the main purpose is to promote a commercial SSH version over OpenSSH (strangely described as "proprietary" in the doc).

Also it's about key management not the networking SECSH protocol.

You mean

OpenSSH also implements its own proprietary certificate format;
I think they are just calling the certificate format proprietary (meaning it is not standard X.509), not OpenSSH as a whole.

Yeah, I find the thread title a bit misleading too.
