Dont have a hardware firewall.. What can I use insted?


Hi,,,

I am wondering what firewalls can I use for my Linux box..?
I am using Debian Sarge testing and KDE...

I dont have a hardware firewall so I guess I will need something..

Any recommendations?

All Linux distros come with iptables inbuilt - this is a firewall. Check out Firestarter or Guarddog as they are GUI frontends to iptables.
