Die-hard bug bytes Linux kernel for second time


The Register is running a story about a local root priv escalation that was originally fixed in the kernel back in 2007 but somehow managed to get itself unfixed sometime in 2008 and has just been re-discovered.

Looks like the fixes have now been committed to git. Lets hope they stay in a little longer this time.
