diabling direct login


Hi all,


In my system i have created a user.

but it is directly logging into my system without asking for password!

i am using SUSE10.1

please help me!

Make sure you set their password via "# passwd <user>" and add them to the /etc/passwd file with all the entry information. I came across this situation a year ago and it is due to a badly setup user. If you added the user manually, try adduser to set them up instead.

You can set this behavior in YaST2 -> Users.
run "kdesu yast2 users"
On the bottom of the window, click on the "Expert Settings" dropdown button. Select "Login Settings" and uncheck "Auto Login".
