DHCP Authentication Suboption

hi guys,

there is this rfc4030 that describing about DHCP Authentication Suboption. Since this is new topic (rfc4030 tagged at March 2005), I hardly find articles about Linux support for it. I'm curious about it. Is there any suggestions where I can find good information about it? or freebsd maybe?

thanks.

My first thought would be section 15 (references) and ISC (as in http://www.isc.org/sw/dhcp/) or packages like dhcp-relay.

i've already run trough it before asking in this forum. it seems there's no opensources support it yet, but i'm sure the commercial one is available. i can say like this based on some applications that support authentication based on pppoe or dhcp. now my most feasible option only pppoe.

thanks anyway for the reply.

Did you take it up with any FOSS DHCP package maintainer to see if they would be willing to supporting the option?
