that's actually a good idea, need to check that out, but would still block some people, that would like to send mail first. Need to make a test, if not many complains, I'll definetely go for it.

btw, I blocked lots of spam attackers by adding feature resolve domain, and from header, so that non proper headers get blocked right away

I have used it now for a few years and it has worked beautifully. If it will work for your needs I would recommend it, then you can close of your relay completely, and only allow access to users who have a confirmed username and password via pop3, I am not sure if it will work with IMAP, but a little research would answer that.
