Crypted removable file system in a file

Hi folks

I am trying to create a crypted file that I can transport via USB key or similar between my Linux box and windows XP machine.

I can create a crypted file system using either of the two operating systems fairly easily, but can't use them on the other operating system.

Any ideas would help.

Thanks

Hey

Try http://www.truecrypt.org/

I have only used this software under Windows but it seems to support Linux. I would suggest in creating a volume on your USB pen drive and then using the software under Windoze / Linux mount this drive to access your data.

Cheers
Tony
