Crashed to KDM while browsing internet is this a security deal?

I was surfing the internet and all of a sudden I get a black screen and then the kde login box pops up so I guess kde crashed. what does this mean and how does that happen? are there logs or something I can check for problems? Thanks

This is an X server crash. If you are using XFree86 then the log file will be be /var/log/XFree86.0.log. This should indicate the cause of the crash.
