Connecting to the net bypassing web proxy
Hello ladies and gents

i am quite interested to know how to bypass a web proxy? There is no need to tell me exactly how to step by step...i am googling and i can find something specific....i know for a fact that is email thunderbird mail gets connected directly to bypassing the proxy (i check the logs). Can i use a similar principal for web browsing....can i set up somewhere externaly a web server or something where my browser is going to be connected to do and browse from there?...thank you in advance for your help.

What type of network / intenet-connection do you have? Who controls the proxy?

If you have a transparent proxy running on the internet gateway, then it controls all port 80 (http) traffic.

The internet connection we have is an 256kb leased line boss and my self control the proxy. in order to access the internet you have to enter and use your login and password. although i can get who you can access yahoo email with out detecting t...if you use outlook in win2k the proxy logs everything...dont you think is possible...thank you for your time.
