CentOS 7 security

Hi all,

I'm a bit new but not entirely green at Linux and have installed a couple of CentOS 7 systems. Just some testing going on, web, mail, owncloud, etc. Now I was wondering, what would you recommend to put on these machines to make it more secure?

The standard firewall and SELinux (Enforcing) are active. I think I secured SSH quite a bit (no root login, no standard port, etc). What else would you do? Fail2Ban? Rootkithunter? Linux Malware Detect?

I of course did some googling around and for example I've found this article from 2015:
https://highon.coffee/blog/security-harden-centos-7/

But that list is huge! Haha. Anyway, any input is greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,
disciple
