cannot write file or directory over network


hi all, i'm install fedora core 6 on hp ML370. my problem is cannot write any file on directory, cannot create folder. file open as read only. the directory full read write exec. i'm can login can see all thing. but i can create folder and read file when i'm login direct without over netwrork (trough windows xp) samba setting ok. why? any body can explaint for me? please

Since Fedora uses SELinux by default, the first thing to do is to check whether the SELinux settings are OK. Also, check your log files - if you find errors that you don't understand, first try putting them into www.google.com/linux. If you still need more help or advice, please copy the error messages and the contents of your smb.conf file, as these can provide a lot of useful information.
