to all the members here.. i as a new user for linux fedora i want to know how the setup and configure firewall, n where can i get it the information about firewall using fedora... thanks to help me!!
Firestarter is easy to setup. There is a wizard that walks you through everything and if you aren't running a server, just turn off everything and you are all set.
With Fedora you should be able to get it through yum or their version of apt-get.
Doesn't fedora help you to set up a firewall when you install it? I think it did for me...you just select which prototcols you wish to get through (ftp, ssh, etc).
