Can't access email or business URL in firefox, or gftp
Hi all,
I can't access my own URL! i have a website, and i was transferring files one day using gftp. I have done this a thousand times, however, i just reinstalled foresight and i compiled gftp and was off to the races. I couldn't remember all the settings so i input into gftp port 80 and when that didn't work i put in port 21.
Anyways, since then my computer is acting like it is blocking my own website. I can't send or recieve emails, I can't go to my url, I can't even ftp files using gftp.
Why? How do i unblock my computer from this URL? lastly, I know the url is working because i can access it from my windows machine.
Any help would be great.

Perhaps you have some bad firewall rules.

I think it would still be worth trying ping etc, even if the url can be accessed from Windows. A detailed nmap scan in particular might show up useful information, for example if some of the services can be accessed but not others.
