Building a Security Team

Hello,

I'm in the process of building a security team and want each individual of the team to concentrate on the GIAC certifications mentioned in the http://www.giac.org/certifications/ web site.

I was wondering if any one has some inputs on how can I structure this team and how can I target customers?

Thanks in advanced for any inputs.

Do you have any professional experience managing a company? People? Business plans? Any professional experience in the pentesting area? Project management? Account management? Isn't that market getting crowded anyway? So what's your market slash niche slash unique proposition? What is or are your personal areas of expertise? I'm just asking questions because I think it's all a wee bit terse. Feel free to elaborate.

What about unSpawn's questions?

Those are his questions, not mine. :)

He asked those questions so that he can better provide you the answers you want. You should graciously answer his questions.

Basically, we need to know what it is you are setting this up for. Is it to provide an in-house security team for your employer or are you setting up a team you can hire out?

This is just for in-house security for my employer. I really don't need to target customers. I added that to the question for other reasons.

This link http://www.secureworks.com/research/...-security-team has some useful information related to what I'm looking for.
