Best security distro available similar to tails for USB installation
 

Recently i moved to a country where there is active internet surveillance. Since i need to work here for a couple months, i was wondering what the best security/anonimity linux distro is and if anyone has experience using it. The distro has to be installed on an USB stick for obvious reasons.

Currently i am using Tails 0.12, since i have no idea what else there is available. However, im not really satisfied with this distro for the following reasons:

- It does not handle system settings very well, i.e it doesnt remember set up email accounts and for example the background i have set.
- Only a few programs are pre confifured.

I hope anyone can advice me on what to use and maybe tell about his/her experiences with these distros.

If that is going to be your reaction, it would probably be best if you did. A simple rewording of your post could have also solved the problem, but instead you have decided to get angry.

We draw the line at circumventing any access restrictions. Who sets and enforces the rules, be it companies, institutions or governments, does not matter: their network, their rules. Ergo this question would have been acceptable if the OP wouldn't have exposed his reason for using it...
