Being Attacked?

Hello,

I am getting the below message on my ssh prompt today :

ATTACKING=eth1 OUT= MAC=00:00:1c:d7:e3:e9:00:d0:95:7a:d5:e4:00:00 SRC=61.149.20.233 DEST=211.24.x.x LEN=84 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=40 IS=2075 5 PRORO=ICMP TYPE=0 CODE=0 IS=768 SEQ=3832

I have Linux 8.0 Server installed with Samba and Internet connection sharing enabled for our LAN.

Is it the server being attacked / hacked?

It's no attack. It's just a Echo Reply request (= ping). Well ICMP is not really something to worry about and calling a ping an ATTACK is really bullshit (except rate > 100/s which would be flood ping).

Check the ICMP type numbers for more information regarding ICMP types.
