Bank details moved

I bank on line with a credit Union. recently when I go to open my account the process is thus: Click on (bank name) page comes up. click on login and then the page comes up with "This site has been moved to HERE". click on HERE and my account opens.

I have removed all history, I have removed bank cookies but still have the same set up...Should I cancel the banking page and set it up again?

You should definitely talk to the bank about it!

Be absolutely certain that you are signing in to the right page!

IF they say the page has moved to HERE, ONLY THEN change your setup and also change your password at the very least!

No ... a bank would never do that. Presume that "a bank would never do that."

Contact your bank tomorrow morning so that your account can be secured. Tell them everything about what you saw.

I have done that today before I put the question here. The bank has no idea on what the problem is about. I will contact their head office.

Glad you have contacted them, you really need to arrive at a definite answer whether the change was from the bank or if you are being hijacked.

Don't take "I don't know..." for an answer! Good luck!

I have updated every a security upgrade that comes on Debian and I have Ghostery, I think that works well for blocking the freeloaders taking information from your internet usage.

Thank you for your help.

This morning I contacted the bank again and was told the fault is on my computer and not on their Windows operated computers.

I have absolutely no idea how to remove the page. which says accurate this time: "Object moved HERE" The account has not been compromised yet so it is unlikely to be a hacker. I apologies for being vague, but at 76 a bit of vagary is normal.

Is there a HTTPS certificate?

That is the heading above? it says hhttps and the banks initials.

https://ibank.(deleted).com.au/ibank/Login.asp This takes me to the login page which takes me to the Object Moved HERE which takes me to the account if I have signed in.
