Auto Update

Hi!

I have Fedora Core 5 running.

How can I check if automatic updates are on?

Or... is there a way to tell the system to automatically update certain packages?

Thank you
bye!

Hi Clpl1980,
I believe you have "pup" which does this for you in Fedora Core 5. I dont think there is anything here called "Automatic Updates". By running "pup" manually you can check what packages you have need updation.

I never managed to do it successfully though. I'm sure its possible though. Just run "pup" and follow the menus.

Manual updation of packages can be done through "yum" but its a bit tough if you've just started out.

Cheers
Arvind
p.s.....You should be posting this in the Fedora forum though
