Unhappy Authentication by Submit Form in Apache???????

Hi folks.

There is any one that can help me, by tell me how make some script in perl, or where I could get information to make that script from some book or site, that make me able to put a login form in my site that uses a perl script when submits data and keep that login alive.

I'm not speaking of the AuthType Basic, that kind of login is really basic, and is very well covered on the net and books. I'm speaking of the kind of login that you find on any commercial site, the classic submit form login on html page.

If any one is enable to help me I appreciate.

Regards to all

I would think that those classic submit forms you see on commercial sites are authenticating the users by storing the information in a database or the such.

Unless you want to create some kind of database to store this information, I'd suggest just using the AuthType way if your using Apache, etc.

Are you just wanting users to be able to login and access a part of your site that is protected? More details are needed or we can't be much of help.
