App with SSL support for RDP?

I'm looking for an app that can act as an rdp client for Terminal Servers that are secured using SSL/TLS certificates. I have set up a certificate authority and secured the Terminal Server to require TLS/SSL certificates from it, all of which is running on Windows 2003 servers, but now I can't connect to them with either rdesktop or krdc on my linux workstation.

On the rdesktop mailing list I saw a reply which stated there was no plans to support SSL/TLS and therefore as an avid gnu user I feel a bit left out in the cold. In fact it takes a newer client than even XP ships with so I had to deploy the 5.2 client just to get windows to support it.

Does anyone know of any app that can do RDP with SSL or any plans for one?

No, I don't. I wonder if you can wedge in something like Stunnel in the picture... Anyway. Another idea might be to leave RDP there (esp. since I know of no web-based equivs that will work with say Firefox). Set up (Tight)VNC over SSH tunnel (or OpenVPN) to get your encrypted channel and then RDP from your shepard host to the herd. Just my ounce of mental floss.

but I have to run terminal server in order to allow my clients to work on the server. I don't want to have to set up any extra fluff just for myself because linux doesn't support it. I also have a windows workstation, I guess I'll just have to be tied to that if there is nothing available for linux.

I have used ssh on windows at home but it requires that you manually sync the passwords to the unix format. The openssh emulation for windows leaves a little to be desired. Correct me if I'm wrong. I just don't want to have to manage that.
