apf and nfs

Ok were do I start, I would love to try this but am vscared!!!!

I have started using APF/IPtables firewall solution for our internet based servers. This is a great tool and have managed to secure services between our base IP and our live Internet IP ranges.

Enabling only certain IP's or domains to access services, is what I would ideally have in place, with this in mind other then the obvious what about using this firewall solution to share NFS or even!!!!!!!!!!! SMB shares to remote and local IP's direct from the Internet services.

Any ideas, comments most welcome (Even laughing is welcome)

Many Thanks

Chris

You question is a bit vague. Maybe if you were a bit more specific on what you are trying to do in terms of services, network topology, who you would like to access services and who you don't, etc we could help you out.
