apache2 + htaccess + ssl

does someone know a good link with information howto configure htaccess with ssl on apache2... i thought it was similar with the usual http-shizzle, but it won't work...

now i add to my /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/test.cfg:

IndexIgnore *
AuthUserFile /var/safedir/.htpasswd
AuthGroupFile /dev/null
AuthName EnterPassword
AuthType Basic
require valid-user

and create the htpasswd-file... restarting the webserver has no result. :s
Then, i added the same thing to ssl.conf, restart the thing, but again, no result...

the ssl-stuff already works fine...

ok, i've found the solution, thx to my bofh.

there's no difference between a ssl-secure (port 443) and non-ssl-secure site (port 80) in case of htaccess...

i was just editing the wrong config-file... i edited the files in the default apache2 installation, but there was another installation living on this computer... stupid from me.
