Antivirus Rkhunter

Hi fellas, I'm gonna install an antivirus for Slackware and it will be rkhunter. When enter the page there are many files with differents extensions. What's the difference and what can I do to be sure which one is correct and not corrupted file.

I know some of them are keys to check them, to make sure the download is not corrupted. The tar.gz one is the program. It looks like you will need to compile it yourself, so hope you're ready for that!

rkhunter hasn't been updated since 2018.

If you want an AV install clamav.

If you want a rootkit checker install chkrootkit.

A good security checker is Lynis.
