aix syslog
Hi,
Hi,
I set up the linux machine(remote server) to log all the AIX syslogs from our development machines. I want to know, how to encrypt syslogs from aix machines to my linux machine. If anyone knows the method please reply.
Thanks in advance

You could setup an encrypted tunnel using ssh or stunnel. There is even a HOWTO on stunnel+syslog.
There are some syslog replacements that have native encryption support like rsyslog and nsyslog, but I'm not sure how well those will work on AIX.

Stunnel is really only designed to tunnel TCP connections, so you may have problems if the AIX syslog can only use UDP sockets and none of the syslog replacements work on AIX. In that case, simply use a SSH tunnel. It's equally secure and easy to setup.
