AIDE Probs in HP-Ux


When I try to install&use aide-0.10 in my Hp-Ux
# aide --init
Memory fault(coredump)
I used gdb,did a patchand again installed
In src/db_file.c
I did the following change

I moved aide.db.new to aide.db

### All files match AIDE database. Looks okay!

How come ?? I have created a file.I dono where the error is.
I am working as a root.But when I try to set permissions in my aide.conf like
/bin All
/home R
I again get coredump error?
Can anyone help me out

Saw some movement on the Aide mailinglist about HP-UX and printf-family statements. Think it would be better to post your question there.
