Question acl support in Red Hat

I'm tryin to improve acl support with a Samba Server, I read about an acl mount option for SUSE ..but in Red Hat doesn't works ... y tried this in the /etc/fstab

LABEL=/ / -o acl ext3 defaults 11

I don't know if it's ok, but I get the same message whit setfacl...
"Operation not supported" every time that I want to assign permissions to a file or a directoty, but getfacl works ok..

Please I need help urgently

You've read the ACL docs/FAQ on what's supported and what is not supported?

Red Hat Linux 9 does not support ACls. You can find it in release notes in Red hat 9
