access to GUI
Folks,
Is there a way to block some users from using the net and allowing some, from the same machine?
Also, I'd like to prevent some users from gaining access to the GUI. Do I have provisions for that in FC2?
Regards,
Mufy

Hi,
For your net problem, see squid : www.squid-cache.org
about GUI access, you can manage that through DRI section (in your Xserver config file)

Hey Oliv! Now what's DRI? I'd appreciate if you could shed some light on how to get the act done. I am not all that experienced in handling squid and modifying configuration files.

Greetings Oliv!!
Thanks a lot. The link was just what I was looking for. Though I couldn't get much out of it as to what DRI stood for . Anyway, nice of you to drop in and lend a helping hand.
Regards,
Mufy
