Use of the term "victim" is hilarious.

One way to find out who your "friends" are.

"One bitcoin, worth $2,365?" Hardly.
"One bitcoin" is worth nothing. I am frankly very skeptical about these "scurrilous stories," even when The New York Times publishes them. |

I'm curious. Why is referring to someone infected by ransomeware as a "victim" hilarious and, assuming that the story is accurate, in what way is the headline "clickbait"?
Inquiring minds want to know. |
Where I come from, those aren't victims, that's snitching, if even to a different authority.
This "innovative idea" is go give up 2 friends to save your hide? This make them any less a victim? The nyt is not exactly accurate as recent events have shown. This is news?! Nothing personal, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze. John |
