gmail account opening very slow through squid fedora 16 server
is there any problem with squid config

please include useful information
like
your connection
if it is 56k dial up it will be slow

and please define or expand on
i guess but ??????
you have squid running on a fedora 16 computer
Fedora 16 was and is not designed for use on a production server

Also fedora BY DEFAULT has IPv6 running
and firefox ALSO has a dns lookup using ipv6 by DEFAULT

so you might want to turn them off seeing as really no one is using ipv6 yet
