Voting Has Opened for the 2004 LinuxQuestions.org Members Choice Awards
Voting is now open for the 2004 LinuxQuestions.org Members Choice Awards. These awards are 100% up to you, the LQ member, so if you see your favorite app missing in any category please let us know (we are still looking for more nominees in many apps). Good luck to each product that is up for an award. Voting will close on February 3rd and awards will be available for pickup at the LQ booth during the LinuxWorld Expo in Boston.

my view
I think it's really inconvenient to install softwares in Linux, what shall we do to make it easy??
|
you need to just search around a bit. if using rpms then rpm -IVH or whatever it is.
Also install and configure the yum program. Once you've invest time install, directing it to certain repositories and learn how to use it (about three commands in total) then almost all software can be installed by typing "yum install <insert program name here>" Yes it is as easy as that |
No Muine
No Monodevelop ;) what's up with that yo? |
