PeaZip updated: 1.8

This weekend I published PeaZip 1.8 on SourceForge:
Main news:
- added read/extract support for ACE archives;
- updated p7zip frontend to use latest 4.47.1 version (supports AES encryption for ZIP archives, implement faster and multithreaded Deflate/Deflate64);
- it is now possible to open dirs, URLs and files with associated application on Gnome and KDE (environment is autodetected by PeaZip at runtime, so it remains a desktop-neutral archiver);
- some fixes and updates in the GUI and other improvements (see full change log on project's website).

The sowtware's binaries are available as .tar.gz package, not needing installation, and as installable package RPM and tgz, providing authomatic system integration in Gnome and KDE desktop environments.
Sources (LGPL) are written in FreePascal using Lazarus.

compression, peazip, rar, rpm, tar, zip
