PeaZip 5.9.0 [file archiver]

PeaZip 5.9.0 for Linux was released a few days ago.

The new release updates to p7zip 15.09 backend, providing out of the box RAR5 format extraction without the need of additional plugin based on RarLabs backend.

As missing dependencies were a frequent trouble, Linux installers (DEB, RPM, TGZ) now contains a minimal set of backend binaries in order to reduce dependencies the main software package rely on.
Additional backend (*paq, FreeArc, etc) can be added manually from "Optional Formats" package if needed.
Portable packages are not involved in this change and comes with all backend as in previous releases.

Information and downloads on official project domain: http://www.peazip.org/peazip-linux.html
