Another distribution has joined LinuxQuestions.org. Please welcome Linux Mint. I'd like to thank Husse for working with me to get the Linux Mint forum setup and for participating. Welcome to LQ!

BackTrack is the most top rated linux live distribution focused on penetration testing. With no installation whatsoever, the analysis platform is started directly from the CD-Rom and is fully accessible within minutes

I've tried Linux Mint Elyssa and I like it pretty much. It seems to work well on my desktop, but I can't get the wireless working on my laptop. There are a few flaky problems on my laptop, that I won't discuss here. Overall, I do like it.
