LQ ISO Hits 2,000,000 Downloads

As I just posted on my blog, LQ ISO recently hit 2,000,000 downloads (and a very short time later is already well over 2,100,000 - which is a good indicator of the growth rate it's currently seeing). If you have any suggestions on how we can improve LQ ISO, please post it in this thread. From completely new features to minor improvements on what we're already doing - we want to hear what you think.

From the aforementioned post:
Quote:

Launched about 20 months ago now, LQ ISO has now facilitated over 2,000,000 Linux ISO downloads. The site currently has 342 distributions versions available for download from 602 mirrors. The site also boosts improved statistics on the homepage, RSS feeds and email notifications for newly released versions and even suggests the fastest local mirror based on where you are browsing from geographically. If you're looking to download a Linux distribution, be sure to check out LQ ISO (and also be sure to suggest it to those looking for a place to quickly and easily download Linux).

We're just going from strength to strength aren't we? How long before the EU hits us with an anti-competitiveness suit do you think? ;)

Seriously though - well done to all of us.

Hello, Jeremy. I want to thank you for supporting and developing this project. It very important for me, because i'm trying to create some linuxversion specific resource for learning purposes. Therefore i want to ask you question: how can i quote to materials from your project, i mean how can refer to you, where can i get public license. Thank's

researcher, to be honest - I don't know what you're asking. LQ ISO itself (which is what this thread is about), doesn't have a license. The LQ Wiki is licensed under either a creative commons or GFDL license depending on what the author wanted. For the forums, the details are in the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

Is there a special reason why it's Closed Source, or do you believe noone else would use the sources anyway? ;)

BTW, thanks very much, seriously. Just kidding...
