Awe, I like the current version of the forum. If only it would be patched and largely stay the same style. I guess I'll see what it's like post-upgrade. Happy birthday LQ.

EDIT: after reading the thread I see it will be patched and stay the same style. I think this is good.

The search on the new platform is entirely redone and substantially improved.

Staying on the current ageing platform just isn't an option. If you have specific suggestions on how the new platform can be improved visually, do let us know.

Congrats, sadly, I do not come often, I lack the time, but I often look up solutions to my problems in here. Keep it up!!!!

Thanks to each and every member, even those who only ask, as even they contribute to knowledge by asking and receiving responses!

Congratulations. I just looked, I joined about 12 years ago, still come here often and still like it.

What I'd like to know, Jeremy, do you somehow direct the way people interact on your site? I mean, this is a very friendly place, and even while it has a truly huge number of members the way users interact is usually really "civilized" .

Regards and happy birthday .

Congratulations to Jeremy and to LQ !

On the design of the site, to me it looks like 'industrial art', which indicates substance over style - and this LQ surely has ! Looks great, leave it alone

The thing that draws me to the site, though I do not contribute that much, is that it prompts more questions and research from me and gets me curious, leading me to a fuller knowledge. I know all kinds of little odds and sods about Linux now that never would have even occurred to me otherwise. Very helpful. I get more out of LQ than I put in, that is for sure.

It also is kinda humbling to see the expertise and knowledge that is available - takes the 'arrogant swagger' out of ones walk !

Here's to the next 15 years !
