he deserves it..

Of course nothing of this all would exists without RMS, and if I had a vote i would vote in RMS. But he isn't such a media guy like Linus.

But that doesn't mean that Linus isn't one of the great ones...

Better than see they saying that someone like Ballmer is a hero, isn't it?

I think that we would have all been using BSD as a result, and be better of because BSD would have got all developpers atention. It's also more free. Nobody can relicense Linux under a different free software license while BSD can be.
