Kubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) Alpha-3 Goes Social

The latest release of the upcoming Kubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) (Alpha-3 version) prepared a surprise for Linux fans who also use netbooks alongside desktop computers: now a netbook image to install on lightweight hardware is available for free download. In the same time, Kubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) Alpha 3 comes with social networking tools enabled on the KDE 4.3 RC desktop, such as KDE microblogging Plasma widget for initiating rapid connection on and Twitter. Facebook users was not forgotten, because the Facebook Kopete plugin will allow them to chat with Facebook friends by using the default chat client.
